So, this blog has now been active for 2 months. And I’ve been posting regularly. I feel like I should almost give myself a pat on the back for that. Excuse me a moment.
Now that that’s sorted, I’ve gone back through my old posts and have noticed a not-unexpected but slightly saddening trend. Most of my post are gripes. About things I come across in my work, about things I’ve come across in my career, and things that just generally annoy me. I’d like to take this moment to apologies for that. That isn’t what I intended when I started this blog.
I originally started this so that I would have somewhere to post my thoughts on things that are related to my work and my career. I am now finding that there are other topics that I’d like to branch out to – things that are either personal (my quest for a healthier lifestyle, as one) and also my hobbies (my Lego collection needs somewhere to shine!)
I keep a list of blog topics of things that pop into my head that I’d like to write about. This list does still contain some technical articles that I want to write about, but it also includes some non-IT related articles: my experiences in being a leader in an MMO guild, my joys (and photos) of some of my rare Lego kits, stereotypes and how I realise I don’t seem to fit neatly into one and of course, my “get healthy” ideas.
I’d like to apologise to those people who have followed this blog based purely on my IT-based articles. You may not want to subscribe to me anymore and I do understand. However, if my views are still of some interest, feel free to come along for the ride!
